Andrew recently came back to his childhood town of Torquay for a holiday to visit his parents and noticed how difficult it was for people who retired in the UK.
Andrew felt that people approaching retirement age in the UK and other European countries had to go through so much stress.
What with many days the weather continues to throw the rain down and the winds don't stop, that alone is enough to stop you going out and even opening the door to depression.
Andrew's Father had a heart attack and it made Andrew worried that his parents are living with the fear of having another heart attack and the next time, may not be so lucky, especially if you cannot get to a medical professional quick enough.
Andrew's father told Andrew that the hospital ward was full of people who had a heart attack, some of them was very fit and often exercised and eat well, some never smoked.
Andrew felt for so many people that are in his Fathers position. And he thought wouldn't it be nice if people could live with the comfort of knowing that medical professionals are living at the touch of a button. Retirement and Nursing homes in the UK are very often unaffordable for so many. Many are even forced to sell their family home to pay for the bills
Can you imagine living with the fear of another stroke or heart attack? Andrew wants to help people with their fear, so he decided to build a hotel type Retirement Residence in the a beach resort in the Far East. Thailand is famous as a worldwide retiree destination.
Andrew sat down one day and started planning a brand new retirement home, one where it didn't feel like an old people's home. He planned it so it would feel like being home away from home. It is designed for people that are reasonably well but don't like living with the fear “ what if something happen's again who is gonna help me in time”
Andrew came up with the idea to make private apartments at affordable rates so each resident would have a sense of independence and would be able to afford it.
Andrew said after many years of living in Thailand, he noticed once people moved here, they seemed to feel better and he realized it was because people socialize more here, they go out more, they go swimming, walk along the beach, get more exercise and all these things he believes adds more quality years to one's life.
Andrew said he has 1 and 2 bedroom apartments to offer from just 700 Pounds per month! They are European standard, and no hidden fee's. Electric and water is the only extra's and that is cheaper than the UK too!

Andrew said he recommends anyone aged over 50 to retire to Thailand, His Establishment offers shuttle bus services to the beach and the city, and he recommends people just to give it a try. He went on to say life is short and after working or going through a tough long life, everyone deserves the best for their retirement.
He said he has heard of too many people leaving this world all because they didn't get help quick enough, and sadly they left with dreams that never materialised, books that were never written, and words that were never spoken.
Thailand is a great place to live, the people are wonderful, they are known for outstanding service, and have earned their name of “Land of Smiles”
Many retiree's now living in Thailand save so much on their expenses that they can afford to fly their children out twice a year for holidays. With flights often having promotions from just 375 Pounds, it makes the world a small world now a days.
Andrew said that he never heard of someone moving to Thailand and regretted it.
